   Every machine should be subjected to a periodic maintenance so the molds.

The maintenance could be as simple as cleaning the canals and the surfaces of the cavities with special solvents and tools to prevent the scratching of the highly polished surfaces. 

   when a mold do certain number of cycles, a specific parts should be replaced with a new one.

​

The maintenance process could go as far as regrooving surfaces.
